This product works when the drop bolt is lowered and rotated so that the lifting plate folds across the edge of the first gate. The drop bolt is then locked in position. As a result, closing the second gate prevents the drop bolt being unlocked. The second gate can now be locked to the first gate with a standard gate lock. The gates can therefore not be spread apart because the drop bolt is locked in position. A smart and tidy product that will enhance the security of your double gates nicely.
